ABOUT US:

From our 1.25 acre, hand-worked garden in Bucklebury, West Berkshire, we supply high quality fruit and veg as well as pasture raised, free range eggs. Founded by Tom and Tessa Green in October 2022, our garden is built on regenerative, no-dig, and ecologically-focused practices. We grow to organic principles, no chemicals and no shortcuts. We farm entirely at human scale, every bed formed by hand, every harvest a result of thoughtful planning and patient care. We are fortunate to have our team constantly evolving with like-minded people; Ashlie, Doug and Franzi all bring their own unique skills and talents to make this garden work.

"Your soil and plants are friends that benefit from constant care and attention" ~ Charles Dowding

Our garden may be small, but it's bursting with purpose and flavour. We cultivate 1.25 acres of no-dig beds, intensively planted and always in tune with the seasons. By avoiding tilling or turning the soil, we protect delicate soil structures, encourage mycorrhizal fungi and promote beneficial microbes that boost growth the natural way which in turn produces the most flavourful, nutrient-rich crops. Our flock of 350 pasture raised laying hens graze in rotation on our regeneratively managed land outside the garden, giving back to the soil and producing happier, healthier eggs that you can really taste the difference!
